• New Image: Nike Air Yeezy 2 “Zen Gray”
1 CommentThe Vice President of Def Jam Promotions, Shawn “Pecas” Costner, recently tweeted a photo of the Nike Air Yeezy 2 sneaker in the “Zen Gray” colorway. Costner received the Nike x Kanye West collaboration sneaker directly from ‘Ye, tweeting “@kanyewest gave me his air yeezy 2.” Although this is a new image, it is not the first time we’ve seen this colorway. Kanye debuted this exact “Zen Gray” Air Yeezy 2 sneaker at the 2011 MTV VMAs. With all the hype surrounding the black/pink Air Yeezy 2s that Kanye has been wearing during the Watch the Throne tour, it’s great to see previews of additional colorways.

8 CommentsIt’s apparent that there are fake Nike Air Yeezy sneakers out there in the market. We’ve all seen the ridiculous colorways and poor craftsmanship. Of all the fake Yeezys, though, this low-top version definitely takes the cake. It’s one thing to replicate a sneaker by simply changing the colors, but changing a critical element of its design is just comical. The essence of the Air Yeezy is the fact that it’s a high-top and was influenced by the Mcfys; it’s “height” essentially makes the sneaker what it is. Unfortunately, it’s all part of the sneaker game and simply comes with the territory. If you can’t buy the real sneakers don’t buy the fake ones at all, especially the low-top ones. You’re better off saving your money and waiting a little longer. In the end, it’ll be worth it and much more gratifying.

8 CommentsKanye West and GLC were on BET on Thursday for the premier of their respective music videos, Amazing and The Big Screen. Kanye wore the black/pink Nike Air Yeezy, which is due out next weekend, May 2, while GLC wore the zen gray Yeezys, which released on April 4.
