• Fake Louis Vuitton Collaboration Sneakers

Fake goods are inevitable when it comes to sneakers and luxury brands. Let’s face it, the most counterfeit items include Nike and Air Jordan sneakers and Louis Vuitton and Gucci handbags. When the Nike Air Yeezy released, fakes surfaced on Ebay and other markets instantaneously. Now, with the release of Kanye West’s recent collaboration last week, the sneakers with Louis Vuitton, fakes have appeared well before the release date. For instance, the fake sneakers on the left were gathered back in the beginning of May ’09 and were spotted on a website that was selling  the entire KW x LV collection. If something is too good to be true, it usually is and if you’re still unsure, keep 2 things in mind–1. These only released at Louis Vuitton retail stores (not online anywhere) 2. If you are buying on Ebay or Craigslist, ask the seller for the receipt as proof they were purchased from a Louis Vuitton store.

• Kanye West x Louis Vuitton Release Date

The collaboration sneakers between Kanye West and Louis Vuitton will be released at worldwide Louis Vuitton retail stores TODAY, WEDNESDAY, July 1st. Unlike the Nike Air Yeezy release, all 3 styles, the Dons, Jasper’s, and Mr. Hudson, will be released at the same time. The least expensive price is $840 for the Mr. Hudson boat-style sneaker and the most expensive is $1,140 for the Jasper’s with the pink sole. Surely, it is pricey, but what did you honestly expect from a French luxury brand that sells handkerchiefs for several hundred dollars?

• La MJC For Kanye West and Louis Vuitton

The crew over at La MJC was fortunate enough to receive the entire collection of the collaboration sneaker between Kanye West and Louis Vuitton weeks before its release. They teamed up with photographer Amaury Choay to create a lifestyle photoshoot with the sneakers and are the first individuals other than Kanye, of course, to actually be seen wearing the sneakers. The creative direction, presentation, and just the entire photoshoot, really, does a wonderful job revealing the great aesthetic of the sneaker; props to La MJC and Amaury.

• Louis Vuitton Sneaker Product Shots

Highsnobiety recently teamed up with German photographer Daniela Muller-Brunke to take high-quality product shots of the collaboration sneaker between Kanye West and Louis Vuitton.
