5 CommentsKanye West and girlfriend Amber Rose were spotted last week in the SoHo area in New York before going to the music video shoot for Jay-Z’s We Run This Town. In the photo, Kanye wears a very simple outfit that consists of black Super sunglasses, a black t-shirt, and jeans. However, it was the gray high-top Maison Martin Margiela shoes with velcro straps that made the entire outfit work for Kanye. The exact shoes are seen below and can be purchased at the Barneys New York online store.
• Ibn Jasper and Don C Show LV Sneakers
2 CommentsKanye West’s barber/style consultant, Ibn Jasper, and road manager, Don C, are almost always spotted with Kanye out in the public. They’re always the other two guys that people can hardly identify in photos, but have the reputation of having as much sense of fashion as Kanye. This video shows Ibn and Don C lounging around Ibn’s home, just showing off their Louis Vuitton sneakers to the camera. They both appear to be like kids who just opened a gift underneath the Christmas tree as the clock struck midnight. And trust me, every other individual would act the same way if they had a Louis Vuitton sneaker named after them–the Don’s and Jasper’s, both of which are unboxed by Don C in the video.

8 CommentsIt’s apparent that there are fake Nike Air Yeezy sneakers out there in the market. We’ve all seen the ridiculous colorways and poor craftsmanship. Of all the fake Yeezys, though, this low-top version definitely takes the cake. It’s one thing to replicate a sneaker by simply changing the colors, but changing a critical element of its design is just comical. The essence of the Air Yeezy is the fact that it’s a high-top and was influenced by the Mcfys; it’s “height” essentially makes the sneaker what it is. Unfortunately, it’s all part of the sneaker game and simply comes with the territory. If you can’t buy the real sneakers don’t buy the fake ones at all, especially the low-top ones. You’re better off saving your money and waiting a little longer. In the end, it’ll be worth it and much more gratifying.
• Louis Vuitton Don’s from Franalations
6 CommentsSneaker connoisseur Franalations is known for his impressive sneaker collection and the reviews that he conducts on YouTube of his purchases. He’s created a very impressive internet following and if you’re not familiar with the name, I suggest you do a search on him because his collection is something serious. His latest video review is on the collaboration sneaker between Kanye West and Louis Vuitton, red size 9 Don’s, to be exact. Not only does the video reveal the sneaker’s high-quality construction, but also its great packaging. Each sneaker comes with its own canvas bag, 2 booklets (1 explaining the quality of the sneaker and 1 explaining the collaboration between Kanye and LV), and a little box that houses an extra pair of red laces. With Louis Vuitton, you get nothing short of perfection. Personally, I don’t think I’d spend $800+ on a pair of sneakers, LV or not, but Franalations does an effective job justifying the price and showing the sneaker’s top-quality.
• Ibn Jasper’s “Jasper’s”
6 CommentsIbn Jasper, Kanye West’s barber and style consultant, is in London with Kanye for a Louis Vuitton photoshoot and was caught lounging in a pair of the Louis Vuitton sneakers that were appropriately named after him, Jasper’s. The Jasper’s are the most recent sneakers he’s revealed on his blog, after showcasing his pair of the zen gray, black/pink, and net/net Nike Air Yeezy, days before each of their release dates. Being affiliated with Kanye sure has its perks.
