• Kanye Spotted in a Black Tuxedo at the amfAR Gala in Cannes

Kanye West continued his stay in Cannes today by attending the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS gala as part of the Cannes Film Festival. At the 17th annual charity event, Kanye was spotted wearing a one-button tuxedo with a black bow tie and the same multi-colored Burkman Bros bracelets that he wore during Coachella. Since his arrival in Paris last weekend, Kanye’s outfits have all included suits and tuxedos—reminiscent of his everyday choice of attire during his Rosewood Movement late last year. At this rate, it looks like that’s going to be Kanye’s go-to outfit at least until the film festival comes to an end this weekend. Satin lapels and hard-bottomed shoes have their time and place, but I think fans would much rather see Kanye stunt in Balmain jeans and Air Yeezy 2 sneakers.

• Kanye Wears Tory Burch Tuxedo at MET Ball

Kanye West was spotted this evening wearing a custom Tory Burch tuxedo at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the MET Ball. Recognized globally as a luxury brand for women, this is one of the American designer’s first attempts at a menswear piece. Using a gold pin to secure his jacket closed and walking down the red carpet with hard-bottomed shoes, Kanye’s look was reminiscent to his (now-defunct) Rosewood Movement earlier this year.

• Kanye West Halloween Costume Roundup

In previous years, a Kanye West costume would include a Polo shirt with a popped collar, shutter shades, a bandana, and a Jesus piece. This year, with his Rosewood Movement and all-red outfit at the MTV VMAs, Kanye gave fans a good source of inspiration to work with. • Kanye West Scans from XXL’s October Issue

Even though Kanye West’s 40-page spread in XXL’s October issue is due out tomorrow, September 28, scans from the magazine have already surfaced. The feature consists of interviews and black and white photos of Kanye and his G.O.O.D. Music artists, all of whom are appropriately representing the Rosewood Movement with black suits and ties. With Kanye serving as the creative director of the spread, he took advantage of the opportunity to represent his newfound movement in the right way with pieces like a black slim-fit suit, knit tie, peacoat, fedora hat, wayfarer-style sunglasses, and Dries Van Noten shoes.
