• Nike Air Yeezy Release Recap
1 CommentToday, Saturday, May 2, will arguably go down as one of the most memorable releases in sneaker culture history. The black/pink Nike Air Yeezy officially released at retail stores worldwide, fulfilling the fruitions of many Sneakerheads who traveled far and wide and patiently waited on city sidewalks, some even in unforgiving weather conditions, for a pair of what most consider the best colorway of the 3 releases. It is intriguing, from the outside looking in, to see the impact that a material good has on consumers and to examine the heights that which consumers will go through to be a rightful owner of that “thing.” So, what do you get when you put together the biggest trend-setter in Popular culture and a sneaker conglomerate with a commanding market share?

• Niketown San Francisco
2 CommentsThanks to Pogiwun we now have exclusive photos of the lineup at the Niketown in San Francisco. After speaking to a Sales Associate at 2pm PST, it has been confirmed that there are about 15 people in line and that Niketown will pass out wristbands and implement an official list sometime during Friday’s business hours. Also, the Sales Associate would not reveal the amount of pairs available. Good luck to all in the Bay Area. Good luck to all across the nation.

• Nike Air Yeezy in Los Angeles
5 CommentsI just called 3 of the Los Angeles stores that are receiving the most pairs of the black/pink Nike Air Yeezy, and here is what I have discovered from speaking to several of the workers:
NikeTown (310-275-9998): There is already a line but the worker did not give a specific head count
House of Hoops (310-652-5749): 18 people in line
Nike Sportswear (323-461-0063): 21 40 people in line (edit 4/26, 10:31PM PST)
If you are in the Los Angeles area, please send me pictures of these lines:

• The Nike Air Yeezy in the Bay Area
7 CommentsIf you reside in the Bay Area in Northern California, here is your guide for the stores that will be dropping the Nike Air Yeezy. The sneaker will release one week from today, Saturday, April 4, and the MSRP that Nike has set is $215, but retail stores obviously have the right to mark the price higher than that. Please call the local stores below to receive up-to-date information on their releases.
