• Chris Julian Wears Pastelle During Fashion’s Night Out
No CommentsFruition LV co-founder Chris Julian was spotted wearing a Pastelle varsity jacket from Kanye West’s now-defunct Pastelle clothing line during New York’s Fashion’s Night Out. This piece was worn by Kanye back in 2008 at the American Music Awards and was one of three sample varsity jackets that was part of ‘Ye’s Pastelle collection. Julian has been really close with Kanye and his inner circle and has even attended several fashion shows with the likes of Virgil Abloh, Don C., and Yeezy himself. Since Pastelle clothing never hit retail shelves, one can only assume that Julian’s varsity jacket is one of few that were actually produced.

Viewing the designer’s Fall 2011 campaign as part of New York Fahion Week, Kanye wore a red leather jacket over a black hooded fleece, black leather pants, Cartier ‘Vitesse’ sunglasses, and an Actual Pain snapback hat. The Cartier sunglasses are a vintage piece from 1991 and are nearly impossible to find, while the Actual Pain snapback hat was released last year and retails for $29.00

7 CommentsWith New York Fashion Week 2011 underway, Kanye West made his first Fashion Week appearance during the first night of festivities. He was spotted at GQ and CFDA’s event for the Best New Menswear Designers in America Fall 2011 Collections show. Accompanied by the likes of Aziz Ansari and Kid Cudi, Kanye wore a black leather jacket, Air Jordan 6 shoes, and Cartier “Vitesse” sunglasses. Kanye is no stranger to fashion shows and with many designers set to debut their Fall collections, I’m sure we’ll be seeing more of him in the coming days.
