• Photoshoot for Vogue Italia
No Comments

Fashion blogger Jinna Boo shares behind the scenes footage of Kanye West at a photoshoot for magazine Vogue Italia. Although there isn’t any coverage of actual photography going on, you get a glimpse of Kanye wearing a white blazer and black dress pants, walking out of what can be assumed as the set for the photoshoot and into a trailer to change into a fur-lined coat and jeans. At the end of the video, one of the stylists on the set, Jonathan Pavlick, goes through a rack of jackets and coats used during the photoshoot and shares some insight on the brands that Kanye wore for the magazine spread, revealing top designer brands John Galliano, Jean Paul Gaultier, Louis Vuitton, Dior Homme, Versace, and Lanvin. Addressing if Kanye expressed any favorite brands during the shoot, Pavlick answered, “He (Kanye West) really loves Lanvin. He really loves Tom Ford.” No additional information has been revealed regarding the Vogue Italia issue that will feature this photoshoot, but it should be worth the wait considering all of the high-end brands Kanye was styled in. • Kanye’s Loafers at the ACE Awards
6 Comments

When Kanye West won the award for Stylemaker of the Year at the Accesories Council Excellence (ACE) Awards last Monday, it was pointed out that his black suit and white shirt were designed by French fashion house Lanvin. Kanye’s unidentified loafers, on the other hand, have left many people wondering about the designer of that particular accessory. The loafers feature several naked women in a tasteful style that resembles what could be found on canvas artwork. The other loafers Kanye has worn in the last several months have mostly been by Stubbs & Wootton, where Kanye has even struck a deal with the footwear company to design his own line of loafers. Could it be that his loafers from the ACE Awards are a custom piece from Stubbs & Wootton? We’ll update you further when we discover additional information.
