• Gray Ibn Jasper x Quintin 5-Panel Cap
1 CommentAfter Ibn Jasper wore the black “Ibn Jasper” x Quintin 5-panel cap collaboration on his birthday, he’s back at it with another preview of a gray colorway. Similar to its black counterpart, the gray 5-panel cap is constructed of suede and features a distinct quilted front that is identical to the lower strap featured on the collaboration shoes between Kanye West and Louis Vuitton, the Jasper’s. An added feature that further draws inspiration from the Kanye x LV shoe is the tassle that is above the 5-panel cap’s bill, which can be found on the Jasper’s, Hudson’s, and Don’s shoes. In terms of additional colorways and release dates, nothing has been officially announced.

• Kanye’s Fashion Influence in the Decade
8 CommentsIn keeping up with their top 100 lists, Complex has put together a list of style trends that ruled the decade. The Top 100 Style Trends of the 2000s showcases fashion trends that shook pop culture and influenced the masses. Now, I haven’t actually had the chance to look through the entire list, but there are definitely trends on the list that Kanye West either spearheaded or was at least notorious for.

• Ibn Jasper and Quintin Hats Collaboration
5 CommentsDuring Ibn Jasper’s birthday celebration this past weekend, he revealed his collaboration 5-panel fitted cap with Quintin, appropriately named after himself, “Ibn Jasper”. The Ibn Jasper appears to be constructed of a black suede and features a front that perfectly matches the lower strap of the black Kanye West x Louis Vuitton Jasper’s shoes. Not much else is known about the collaboration between Ibn Jasper and Quintin, but expect great quality and nothing less than perfection from a man like Ibn, who also happens to be Kanye’s barber and style consultant.

• Spike Jonze Slaps Kanye
5 CommentsWith the iTunes release of Spike Jonze’s short film “We Were Once a Fairytale”, it is only appropriate for the public to view behind the scenes footage of the shoot. Here’s Jonze slapping an inattentive Kanye West, who happens to play the lead role in the short film.

• We Were Once a Fairytale by Spike Jonze
No CommentsBy now, I’m sure most of you have heard about the release of the short film “We Were Once a Fairytale” directed by Spike Jonze featuring Kanye West. In fact, some of you may have already watched it in its entirety since it was even posted on Kanye’s official blog (which was soon removed) and can easily be found on various video websites. No matter your thoughts on Jonze’s short film, I encourage you to support him and purchase “We Were Once a Fairytale” when it hits the iTunes store. The 14-minute short film is a great piece of art that displays the highs and lows of star power and perfectly exposes the “inner demon” that takes control of Kanye’s life. It’s definitely not filled with a cliche plot and leaves much room for interpretation; which I believe is the true beauty of it.
Again, I encourage you to support Spike Jonze and all his creative endeavors by purchasing “We Were Once a Fairytale” on iTunes.
