• Horus Chain in “Power” Music Video
2 CommentsWith “Power” already playing on the radio for over a month now, fans can expect a music video to go with the first single off of Kanye West’s 5th album. Shot by director Marco Brambilla, the “Power” music video will have a dark theme that provides imagery of death where Kanye is apparently going to be executed. Based on the screen capture of the video, Kanye will be wearing the same Horus chain that he wore when he performed at the BET Awards 2010. The 24K yellow gold chain that depicts the Egyptian deity Horus was designed by Jacob & Co. and is worth $300,000.

• Kanye Wearing Horus Chain and 4-Finger Pyramid Ring
2 CommentsKanye West was recently seen at the “Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs” exhibition in New York wearing his Horus chain and 4-finger pyramid ring. In the photograph, Kanye is seen to the right of a golden canopic chest where King Tut’s great-grandmother, Tjuya, lays. It was confirmed last week that the Horus chain and 4-finger pyramid ring were created by Jacob & Co. and valued at $300,000 a piece.

• Kanye’s Horus Chain and 2-Pyramid Ring by Jacob & Co.
5 CommentsThree days after Kanye West’s performance at the BET Awards 2010 and the internet is still buzzing over his Horus chain and 2-pyramid ring. The 24k yellow gold pieces of jewelry were created by Jacob & Co.’s Jacob the Jeweler and are valued at $300,000 a piece. If Kanye’s jewelry game and leading single “Power” are any indication of what to expect with his upcoming album “Good Ass Job,” I think it is safe to say that he is back strong ready to take aim at all his critics and doubters.
