• Kanye West Scans from XXL’s October Issue

Even though Kanye West’s 40-page spread in XXL’s October issue is due out tomorrow, September 28, scans from the magazine have already surfaced. The feature consists of interviews and black and white photos of Kanye and his G.O.O.D. Music artists, all of whom are appropriately representing the Rosewood Movement with black suits and ties. With Kanye serving as the creative director of the spread, he took advantage of the opportunity to represent his newfound movement in the right way with pieces like a black slim-fit suit, knit tie, peacoat, fedora hat, wayfarer-style sunglasses, and Dries Van Noten shoes. • Kanye West on the Cover of XXL’s October Issue

Kanye West will be covering XXL magazine’s October issue due out nationwide on September 28. On the cover of the Hip-Hop magazine, Kanye is wearing his Horus chain and black Wayfarer-style sunglasses. In the special collector’s issue where Kanye served as the creative director for the 40-page feature, he discusses topics that include the Taylor Swift incident at the 2009 VMAs and his own personal growth from the past year. With Kanye at the helm of a 40-page feature, there promises to be great content filled with memorable quotes and profound images.

• Kanye Wearing Red Suit and Horus Chain at Jay-Z & Eminem Concert

Fresh off his VMAs performance, Kanye West headed east to New York to join Jay-z at Yankee Stadium for his Home and Home concert with Eminem. Coming out to perform five songs, including his G.O.O.D Friday hit “Monster” and Graduation classics “Good Life” and “Can’t Tell Me Nothing,” Kanye wore a red suit, a leopard-print shirt, red Louis Vuitton Don’s shoes, and his custom-made Horus chain. Minus the leopard print shirt, he’s essentially worn identical outfits at the BET Awards 2010 and this past weekend’s MTV VMAs. There’s no word on the designer of the red suit, especially since many high-end lines have offered a similar red suit in their Spring collections, but if one had to narrow it down, it would be appropriate to consider Dior Homme because Kanye’s black slim-fit suits were made by Dior Homme when he first introduced his Rosewood Movement.

• Horus Chain Replica on Ebay

A replica of the Horus chain that Kanye West wore at the BET Awards 2010 is now up for auction on Ebay. It was only a matter of time until the $300,000 necklace created by Jacob & Co. was imitated and made available for purchase to the public, as was the case with Kanye’s black Jesus piece. The replica Horus chain is obviously not worth anywhere near the value of the authentic piece of jewelry, but solely judging by the photos on the auction, there appears to be a level of attention to detail. The chain has a length of 22″, the Horus pendant measures 2″ x 2″, and the entire necklace weighs 1.5 lbs.

• “Power” Music Video Premiere

Just a reminder that Kanye West’s music video for “Power,” the first single off of his 5th album, will premiere tonight at 11 PM EST on MTV following Jersey Shore. The music video was directed by Marco Brambilla and even features the infamous Horus chain that Kanye unveiled at the BET Awards 2010. Expect an update shortly with the music video embedded and details of the outfit Kanye wore in the video.
