• Kanye in H&M Style Guide

Sweden-based brand Hennes and Mauritz AB, or commonly known as simply H&M, has included Kanye West in their latest Style Guide focused on outfits that predominantly include the color black. In the photo, Kanye’s outfit features, as Jay-Z best put it, all black everything. Kanye wears a black blazer with rolled-up sleeves on a plain black t-shirt, with black slacks and black sunglasses.

• Air Yeezy on 100 Best Sneakers of the 2000s

With all the hype and astronomical aftermarket prices that the Nike Air Yeezy commanded during the 3 consecutive months of each colorway’s release, it was only right that the shoe found its way on Complex Magazine’s 100 Best Sneakers of the 2000s list. The Air Yeezy,  a collaboration between Kanye West and Nike, was #5 on a list that included some of the most sought-after shoes that have been released in this decade. Some of the shoes that joined the Air Yeezy in the top 10 included the Nike Dunk SB Tiffany, Nike Dunk SB Jedi, Air Max 90 Bacon, and the UNDFTD Air Jordan IV.

• Turn Back Thursday: Kanye Wearing Supreme

Here’s a photo of Kanye West from 2003, during his “Backpacker”  rap days, wearing a brown Supreme fleece-hoody. As artists gain an immense amount of star power, they’re usually aligned with a stylist who introduces them to fashion brands that are “trendy” and “hip”. We’ve all seen brand loyalists jump ship because a certain celebrity was seen wearing their favorite “underground” brand, making that specific brand officially mainstream. With this 2003 photo, it proves Kanye was familiar with the New York-based skate brand prior to becoming the huge artist he is today.

We’re all aware of the history between Kanye West and the paparazzi, but that’s an entirely different subject of discussion that’s neither here no there. With Kanye’s recent verbal confrontation with the paparazzi on Robertson Blvd. in Beverly Hills, his outfit consisted of a blue Kansas City Royals New Era fitted cap, a plain white t-shirt with a left breast pocket, and APC New Cure denim.

• Turn Back Thursday: Kanye Wearing UNDFTD

Kanye West is one of few artists who can attend a Louis Vuitton fashion show wearing a $10,000 designer suit and go perform the very next night wearing a simple t-shirt with jeans. His fashion sense, similar to his music, is extremely versatile and diverse. Kanye’s knowledge of fashion spans all walks of life and sub-cultures, and definitely shows with every music video, magazine spread, and candid shot. Here is a photo of Kanye (with Virgil Abloh, Pharrell, and Jermaine Dupri)  from 2007, just following the release of his Graduation album, wearing the Louis Vuitton Millionaire sunglasses designed by Pharrell and a t-shirt from the Los Angeles-based streetwear clothing brand UNDFTD.

• Shopping at A.P.C.

Kanye West was seen shopping at the A.P.C. store in New York’s SoHo district ironically wearing a pair of A.P.C. New Cure jeans. The french brand, which is known for it’s high-quality raw denim and selvage, has been seen on many celebs and is a prime choice for those who want to achieve a nice denim fade through everyday wear.
