• Nike Air Yeezy With Jordan 6 Sole

Several weeks back, Chi Mcbride and Mark Smith revealed the plans to auction off the original Nike Air Yeezy that Kanye West wore at the Grammy’s in 2008, labeled as the Grammy Air Yeezys. Now, the duo is back to reveal another 1 of 1 original pair that will also be on the auction block to support the Doernbecher Foundation. Up for grabs is an all black Nike Air Yeezy with an Air Jordan 6 sole. In the video below, Smith reveals that the sample was never even presented to Kanye during the production of the Air Yeezy shoe.

What does everyone think about the Air Yeezy with a Jordan 6 sole? I personally don’t like it, but that’s only because I’m a big fan of the Jordan 3 shoe and the final Air Yeezy implemented the Jordan 3 sole.

• Grammy Air Yeezys

Actor Chi Mcbride had a chance to sit down with the Creative Director of Jordan Brand, Mark Smith, to give details about the charity work between Nike and the the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital known as the Doernbecher Charity. To raise funds for the charity, Nike will auction off exclusive items, in which one of the items includes a Nike Air Yeezy sneaker. But not just any Air Yeezy, the original Air Yeezy. In the video, Chi Mcbride shows off the all black sample Nike Air Yeezy that Kanye wore at the 2008 Grammy Awards. The same exact pair that had blogs and everyone in the sneaker culture buzzing for months. If you ask me, the idea is great and is a win-win for both parties– the auction winner and the charity organization.

• Net/Net Nike Air Yeezy (Tan/Pink)

Although the net/net, or rather, tan/pink, Nike Air Yeezy colorway is the last of the 3 Yeezys to be released, die hard sneaker fanatics lined up at the Nike Sportswear LA store in The Montalban theater for the first Yeezy release, had the opportunity to see a sneak peak in person. Actor, Kenneth “Chi” McBride‘s son was seen wearing a size 12 sample of the third colorway. This sneaker doesn’t drop until June 6 and the pictures of McBride’s son’s Yeezys have already created a frenzy on several Streetwear/Fashion/Sneaker forums.
