• Kanye and Pharrell at Lanvin Fashion Show
10 CommentsOne of the best things about a major event like Paris Fashion Week is seeing all the creative individuals that attend and appreciate the fashion and craftsmanship that is displayed before their eyes. Kanye West and Pharrell Williams, two of the music industry’s most influential men when it comes to fashion, were both in attendance at the Lanvin fashion show today. Interestingly enough, these two went up against each other in round 4 of Complex’s Style War several months back, where Kanye ended up the victor. At the Lanvin fashion show, Kanye wore Lanvin “Way Shiner” sunglasses, which are the ones he’s been wearing since he’s been at Paris Fashion Week, black Balmain jeans featuring 2 front zip pockets, and Hermes high-top sneakers constructed of their popular crocodile leather.

• Kanye Wearing Balmain Jeans and Air Yeezys
4 CommentsNot only has it been quite a while since Kanye West has been in the spotlight, but it’s also been several months since he’s been seen wearing his collaboration shoes with Nike, the Air Yeezy. In previous months, many of the shoes Kanye’s been wearing had subtle silhouettes and colorways, all from high-end designer brands. To see him wearing the Air Yeezys this past week, and the first ones at that, is very appropriate considering all the recognition the shoe is receiving as being one of the top sneakers of 2009. In addition to the Air Yeezy shoes, Kanye’s also wearing black Balmain jeans.

4 CommentsIf you’ve ever seen the “Forever” music video that features Drake, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and Eminem, several questions may have been running loosely through your head. Why is Lebron James the star of this video? Did Kanye really get the nod for the best verse? Is that Slaughterhouse behind Eminem? Why is Lebron James the star of this video? Despite such head-scratchers, it doesn’t take away from the fact that it’s quite a good song that not only displays 4 different rapping techniques, but also 4 different fashion styles. Complex has covered the fashion side of the music video, putting together individual outfits that resemble what Drake, Kanye, Lil Wayne, and Eminem wore in “Forever”.
