• Kanye’s Shoes: All-Star Weekend Wrap Up
1 CommentIf there is any confirmation that Kanye West is back to wearing sneakers over hard-bottoms, it is this past NBA All-Star weekend. Saturday was the debut for the music video for “All of the Lights,” where Kanye was seen wearing a pair of black/cement Air Jordan 3s. The short film “The Black Mamba” also premiered on that day, in which Kanye wore what could be a pair of the Air Yeezy 2 shoes. On Sunday, he made an appearance at the NBA All-Star game halftime show, performing “All of the Lights” with Rihanna. There, Kanye wore an all-red outfit and Jordan Infrared 6s. I might be jumping the gun by saying that Kanye is completely done with the Rosewood Movement, but he’s definitely looking like the Kanye from the Graduation era that blended European designer brands with Nike and Jordan sneakers.

• Kanye Wearing Air Jordan 6 Infrared Sneakers
5 CommentsWhile catching a flight to Los Angeles from New York’s JFK International Airport, Kanye was recently seen wearing Air Jordan 6 Infrareds. The timing is quite appropriate seeing as how the Air Jordan 6 Infrared pack was released this past weekend on June 19th. Now, it’s difficult to determine if he has the 2000 retro Infrared or the more recent release (my gut tells me Kanye has the 2010 Infrareds), but for all those that can appreciate shoes, the Infrared Jordans, no matter if it’s a retro or OG, are a nice addition to any sneaker head’s collection.

• Kanye Wearing the Air Jordan 6 (VI) “Infrared”
17 CommentsWith a little under a week until the release of the Air Jordan 6 (VI) in black/varsity red, I thought it would be appropriate to post photos of Kanye wearing the Jordan “Infrared” 6s. Although this upcoming Sunday’s release is already being downplayed because of the change in the shoe’s shade of red (infrared to varsity) and upper material (nubuck to suede), it’s still the closest you’ll get to owning a pair of the OG “Infrared” 6s without resorting to an endless search and paying an arm and a leg. The Jordan black/varsity red 6 will be released on January 23rd at most major shoe retailers (comparable to the Space Jam 11 release) and will retail for $150.
