• Ibn Jasper and Don C Show LV Sneakers
2 CommentsKanye West’s barber/style consultant, Ibn Jasper, and road manager, Don C, are almost always spotted with Kanye out in the public. They’re always the other two guys that people can hardly identify in photos, but have the reputation of having as much sense of fashion as Kanye. This video shows Ibn and Don C lounging around Ibn’s home, just showing off their Louis Vuitton sneakers to the camera. They both appear to be like kids who just opened a gift underneath the Christmas tree as the clock struck midnight. And trust me, every other individual would act the same way if they had a Louis Vuitton sneaker named after them–the Don’s and Jasper’s, both of which are unboxed by Don C in the video.

• Make Her Say Music Video Outfit
14 CommentsThe music video for Kid Cudi’s Make Her Say, featuring Kanye West and Common, was released yesterday after much anticipation from many fans. The video was directed by Nez Khammal and features a horizontal split screen for more of an abstract illusion. Although the music video is actually pretty simple, the presence of these 3 artists and the overall message in the song is essentially what makes the video. Kanye’s shot took place in Los Angeles and wore the black flat-top Super sunglasses from RETROSUPERFUTURE, a green Army-like jacket, khaki pants (or khaki-colored denim), and wheat-colored 6″ Timberland boots.

• Louis Vuitton Don’s from Franalations
6 CommentsSneaker connoisseur Franalations is known for his impressive sneaker collection and the reviews that he conducts on YouTube of his purchases. He’s created a very impressive internet following and if you’re not familiar with the name, I suggest you do a search on him because his collection is something serious. His latest video review is on the collaboration sneaker between Kanye West and Louis Vuitton, red size 9 Don’s, to be exact. Not only does the video reveal the sneaker’s high-quality construction, but also its great packaging. Each sneaker comes with its own canvas bag, 2 booklets (1 explaining the quality of the sneaker and 1 explaining the collaboration between Kanye and LV), and a little box that houses an extra pair of red laces. With Louis Vuitton, you get nothing short of perfection. Personally, I don’t think I’d spend $800+ on a pair of sneakers, LV or not, but Franalations does an effective job justifying the price and showing the sneaker’s top-quality.

• Nike Air Yeezy Solution #808
3 CommentsThe Nike Air Yeezy Solution #808 viral video showcases the sneaker’s ability to be more than simply a fashion accessory, but a home essential. Lil Jimmy uses it to combat his fear of the dark by using it as a nightlight. It’s a pretty funny video and its purpose seems to promote the Air Yeezy Sightings upload section on Kanye West’s website/blog, Kanye Universe City.

• Kanye West x Louis Vuitton Photshoot Video
1 CommentWe showed you unofficial product shots that Highsnobiety and Daniela Muller-Brunke did for the Kanye West x Louis Vuitton collaboration sneakers, and now, here is the video from the photoshoot. I especially like how the video reveals attributes of the sneaker that had never been exposed before in other product shots, like the special insole that reads, “Louis Vuitton and Kanye West.” It’s a great viral video that truly reveals the intricacy and attention to detail of the sneaker.

• Kanye in the Ego Music Video
1 CommentWhen it comes to music videos and presentation, Kanye West is always on point. Whether it be the storyline, effects, or his outfit in the video, he never seizes to amaze viewers. The music video for Beyonce’s current single “Ego” features Kanye in a suit that complements the entire black/white theme of the video, while also wearing a pair of the white Mr. Hudson, 1 of 2 low-top sneakers he designed with Louis Vuitton. He’s also wearing the black flat-top style sunglasses by RETROSUPERFUTURE, which has been his prime choice for sunglasses several months now. It’s a nice, clean monotonic outfit that could be worn at work or even in the club. Here are screen shots from the video:
