• Gray Ibn Jasper x Quintin 5-Panel Cap
1 Comment

After Ibn Jasper wore the black “Ibn Jasper” x Quintin 5-panel cap collaboration on his birthday, he’s back at it with another preview of a gray colorway. Similar to its black counterpart, the gray 5-panel cap is constructed of suede and features a distinct quilted front that is identical to the lower strap featured on the collaboration shoes between Kanye West and Louis Vuitton, the Jasper’s. An added feature that further draws inspiration from the Kanye x LV shoe is the tassle that is above the 5-panel cap’s bill, which can be found on the Jasper’s, Hudson’s, and Don’s shoes. In terms of additional colorways and release dates, nothing has been officially announced.

• Ibn Jasper and Quintin Hats Collaboration
5 Comments

During Ibn Jasper’s birthday celebration this past weekend, he revealed his collaboration 5-panel fitted cap with Quintin, appropriately named after himself, “Ibn Jasper”. The Ibn Jasper appears to be constructed of a black suede and features a front that perfectly matches the lower strap of the black Kanye West x Louis Vuitton Jasper’s shoes. Not much else is known about the collaboration between Ibn Jasper and Quintin, but expect great quality and nothing less than perfection from a man like Ibn, who also happens to be Kanye’s barber and style consultant.

• Kanye West for LRG Clothing
8 Comments

Lifted Research Group, or better known as LRG, has always been one of my favorite brands since day 1. Founders Jonas Bevacqua and Robert Wright  introduced LRG to the clothing industry in the late 90s and revolutionized design and fashion by bridging the gap between the skate and urban community. As a brand and lifestyle, they did not pigeonhole themselves to one audience, and their sponsorships and advertising campaigns truly reflected that. From Black Thought to Chico Brenes to Clinton Portis to Just Blaze, and many others, they always had an all-star cast of individuals. Whether through music, sports, or skate, their sponsors always brought something positive and unique to their respective craft. A notable sponsor was Kanye West, who they brought on early in his career, before the sold out shows, Jesus piece, and multi-platinum selling albums. Here are 3 magazine advertisements from 2004 of Kanye rocking LRG clothing.

• Kanye West Foundation S.H.O.W. T-shirt
1 Comment

A special t-shirt for the Kanye West Foundation S.H.O.W. (Students Helping Our World) is now available online at Kanye’s official website. The heather gray t-shirt features a hand holing a music note on the front, the Kanye West Foundation logo on the back, and concert details on the left sleeve. All proceeds go to the foundation and the t-shirt is extremely limited. In fact, as of right now, there are only sizes small and medium available. This charity t-shirt is an appropriate release, considering the fact that the Stay in School Benefit Concert will air tomorrow, Saturday, July 18, on Fuse TV. It’s safe to assume that most in the crowd will be rocking this very t-shirt.

• Make Her Say Music Video Outfit
14 Comments

The music video for Kid Cudi’s Make Her Say, featuring Kanye West and Common, was released yesterday after much anticipation from many fans. The video was directed by Nez Khammal and features a horizontal split screen for more of an abstract illusion. Although the music video is actually pretty simple, the presence of these 3 artists and the overall message in the song is essentially what makes the video. Kanye’s shot took place in Los Angeles and wore the black flat-top Super sunglasses from RETROSUPERFUTURE, a green Army-like jacket, khaki pants (or khaki-colored denim), and wheat-colored 6″ Timberland boots.
