• Kanye in Air Jordan 6 Sneakers and Givenchy Plaid Shirt
3 CommentsBig Sean performed at the Best Buy Theatre last night in New York and brought out surprise guest Kanye West to perform the single “Marvin Gaye and Chardonnay.” Thanks to Michael Knapp (Snapps), we’ve got some images from the show. During the performance, Kanye was spotted wearing Air Jordan 6 “Infrared” shoes, a plaid Givenchy shirt, and several gold chains around his neck, which included the “Yeezi” nameplate from Paris Fashion Week. The long-sleeve button-down shirt from Givenchy features a red, white, and blue tartan pattern and retails for $355. The shirt can be purchased online from SSENSE.
• Kanye Performs at The Museum of Modern Art
8 CommentsKanye West is currently at The Museum of Modern Art in New York performing at the Party in the Garden event. Several attendees have tweeted photos of his performance and it looks like Kanye’s wearing the Salt and Pepper style American Apparel hoody (based on the white tape on the hoody’s zipper), a white t-shirt, and distressed jeans that could possibly be the Balmain jeans he’s worn in the past. We’ll keep you posted with clearer photos that surface as the night goes on.
• Kanye West and G.O.O.D Music at SXSW
4 CommentsKanye West made an appearance at this weekend’s South by Southwest Music Festival on early Sunday morning in Austin. Also taking the stage with him were fellow G.O.O.D Music artists Big Sean, Pusha T, Mr. Hudson, Kid Cudi, Mos Def, Cyhi da Prynce and John Legend. During his set, Kanye changed outfits twice. He entered the stage wearing an all-black outfit as opened with “Dark Fantasy.” Mid-set, Kanye changed to an all-red outfit for performances of “Say You Will,” “Runaway,” and “All of the Lights,” the last of which he brought out a full marching band. For the last part of his set, which included Jay-Z and Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon, Kanye changed back to an all-black outfit and wore a pair of Jordan 6 Infrared shoes.
• Kanye Wearing Red Suit and Horus Chain at Jay-Z & Eminem Concert
2 CommentsFresh off his VMAs performance, Kanye West headed east to New York to join Jay-z at Yankee Stadium for his Home and Home concert with Eminem. Coming out to perform five songs, including his G.O.O.D Friday hit “Monster” and Graduation classics “Good Life” and “Can’t Tell Me Nothing,” Kanye wore a red suit, a leopard-print shirt, red Louis Vuitton Don’s shoes, and his custom-made Horus chain. Minus the leopard print shirt, he’s essentially worn identical outfits at the BET Awards 2010 and this past weekend’s MTV VMAs. There’s no word on the designer of the red suit, especially since many high-end lines have offered a similar red suit in their Spring collections, but if one had to narrow it down, it would be appropriate to consider Dior Homme because Kanye’s black slim-fit suits were made by Dior Homme when he first introduced his Rosewood Movement.
• Neon Red Glow in the Dark Suit at Singfest 2010
No CommentsAs reported earlier in the day, Kanye West is in Singapore for the Singfest 2010 music festival. Continuing with the whole “Rosewood Movement” lifestyle, Kanye performed wearing a suit, just as he did at the Facebook and Twitter headquarters last week. Adding his own creativity to the conventional black suit, Kanye’s outfit appeared to be neon red with a glow in the dark twist. He even tweeted about the suit and included a Twitpic of his performance.
