2 CommentsKanye West’s barber/style consultant, Ibn Jasper, and road manager, Don C, are almost always spotted with Kanye out in the public. They’re always the other two guys that people can hardly identify in photos, but have the reputation of having as much sense of fashion as Kanye. This video shows Ibn and Don C lounging around Ibn’s home, just showing off their Louis Vuitton sneakers to the camera. They both appear to be like kids who just opened a gift underneath the Christmas tree as the clock struck midnight. And trust me, every other individual would act the same way if they had a Louis Vuitton sneaker named after them–the Don’s and Jasper’s, both of which are unboxed by Don C in the video.

From the luxury backpacks, Jesus pieces, and sneakers, they essentially have style down to a science. With the recent release of the Kanye West and Louis Vuitton collaboration sneaker, it’s only proper for the G.O.O.D. artists to support both mega brands. Here’s up-and-coming artist, Kid Cudi rocking a pair of the Louis Vuitton Don’s with Don C, who ironically enough is the reason for the name of the sneaker, brushing the Don’s in approval.

6 CommentsIbn Jasper, Kanye West’s barber and style consultant, is in London with Kanye for a Louis Vuitton photoshoot and was caught lounging in a pair of the Louis Vuitton sneakers that were appropriately named after him, Jasper’s. The Jasper’s are the most recent sneakers he’s revealed on his blog, after showcasing his pair of the zen gray, black/pink, and net/net Nike Air Yeezy, days before each of their release dates. Being affiliated with Kanye sure has its perks.

5 CommentsFake goods are inevitable when it comes to sneakers and luxury brands. Let’s face it, the most counterfeit items include Nike and Air Jordan sneakers and Louis Vuitton and Gucci handbags. When the Nike Air Yeezy released, fakes surfaced on Ebay and other markets instantaneously. Now, with the release of Kanye West’s recent collaboration last week, the sneakers with Louis Vuitton, fakes have appeared well before the release date. For instance, the fake sneakers on the left were gathered back in the beginning of May ’09 and were spotted on a website that was selling the entire KW x LV collection. If something is too good to be true, it usually is and if you’re still unsure, keep 2 things in mind–1. These only released at Louis Vuitton retail stores (not online anywhere) 2. If you are buying on Ebay or Craigslist, ask the seller for the receipt as proof they were purchased from a Louis Vuitton store.
