• Mr. Hudson Shows off the LV Mr. Hudson’s
6 CommentsArguably the most underrated Kanye West and Louis Vuitton collaboration shoe, the Mr. Hudson’s definitely establish a completely different aesthetic from the Jasper’s and Don’s. It has the silhouette of a boat shoe and loafer, while its construction and attention to detail fully represents the luxury appeal that is Louis Vuitton. Now, if you’re familiar with Mr. Hudson’s sense of fashion, then you’d understand that it was only appropriate for Kanye to name this particular shoe after his G.O.O.D. Music artist. Here’s a video of Mr. Hudson at RSVP Gallery in Chicago, showing off the Mr. Hudson’s and singing an acoustic version of his song “Supernova”.

• Ibn Skates Jasper’s and Stephen Sprouse Board
4 CommentsWhen you get the Kanye West and Louis Vuitton Jasper’s for free, it gives you more of a reason to do some pretty outrageous things to the $1,140 shoes. Here’s a video and pictures of Ibn Jasper skating the Jasper’s on the collaboration skateboard between Louis Vuitton and Stephen Sprouse.

• Franalations Shows the Jasper’s
4 CommentsFranaltions already showed his Louis Vuitton Don’s and is now back with his video for the Jasper’s. Again, pictures online do not justify the quality and attention to detail put into this collaboration between Kanye West and Louis Vuitton. There’s a specific reason these sneakers retail for $1,000+ and I think the excitement from Franalations in the video says it all.

• Just JR Kanye Collage
No CommentsCheck out this Kanye-themed collage created by Just JR titled Just Do It Kanye Style. It does an effective job of putting together imagery that represents High-end fashion, Louis Vuitton, Takashi Murakami, New York, Japan, and of course, Kanye West.

August 4th, 2009• GQ UK Edition Magazine Scans
3 CommentsKanye West is a genius at presentation. Whether in music videos, magazines, or stage, he plans everything down to a science and is perfectionist like no other artist. Check out these latest magazine scans from the July 2009 issue of the UK edition of GQ magazine where he wears the collaboration sneakers he designed with Louis Vuitton. Although I’m sure there was a Creative Director during this entire process, one can only think that Kanye was very instrumental in giving his feedback and leading the overall vision of the photoshoot. The outfits are well coordinated and maintain that GQ appeal.
