• Kanye to Show Womenswear Collection at Paris Fashion Week
No CommentsKanye West is officially set to present his upcoming Spring/Summer 2012 womenswear collection at Paris Fashion Week on October 1. His show will immediately follow Jean Paul Gaultier. Specific details of his line, such as the name and design direction, are still under speculation. Though it will be his first time showing at Fashion Week, this is not Kanye’s first foray into fashion. In 2009, he teamed up with Louis Vuitton and Nike to create his very own shoe, and prior to that, he founded the now-defunct Pastelle clothing line in 2008.

2 CommentsParis Fashion Week kicked off yesterday and Kanye West was spotted at the Lous Vuitton fashion show for the French luxury brand’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection. Dressed down for the event, Kanye’s casual outfit included a customized Mitchell & Ness Dallas Mavericks snapback hat, a plain white t-shirt, black pants, and his Louis Vuitton “Don’s” collaboration sneakers. 11 CommentsKanye West was spotted front row at the Jeremy Scott fashion show, sitting between Keri Hilson and Vanessa Hudgens. Viewing the designer’s Fall 2011 campaign as part of New York Fahion Week, Kanye wore a red leather jacket over a black hooded fleece, black leather pants, Cartier ‘Vitesse’ sunglasses, and an Actual Pain snapback hat. The Cartier sunglasses are a vintage piece from 1991 and are nearly impossible to find, while the Actual Pain snapback hat was released last year and retails for $29.00

7 CommentsWith New York Fashion Week 2011 underway, Kanye West made his first Fashion Week appearance during the first night of festivities. He was spotted at GQ and CFDA’s event for the Best New Menswear Designers in America Fall 2011 Collections show. Accompanied by the likes of Aziz Ansari and Kid Cudi, Kanye wore a black leather jacket, Air Jordan 6 shoes, and Cartier “Vitesse” sunglasses. Kanye is no stranger to fashion shows and with many designers set to debut their Fall collections, I’m sure we’ll be seeing more of him in the coming days.

12 CommentsOne of the best things about a major event like Paris Fashion Week is seeing all the creative individuals that attend and appreciate the fashion and craftsmanship that is displayed before their eyes. Kanye West and Pharrell Williams, two of the music industry’s most influential men when it comes to fashion, were both in attendance at the Lanvin fashion show today. Interestingly enough, these two went up against each other in round 4 of Complex’s Style War several months back, where Kanye ended up the victor. At the Lanvin fashion show, Kanye wore Lanvin “Way Shiner” sunglasses, which are the ones he’s been wearing since he’s been at Paris Fashion Week, black Balmain jeans featuring 2 front zip pockets, and Hermes high-top sneakers constructed of their popular crocodile leather.
