• Kanye West Attends the 2011 French Open

Kanye West has been making the most of his time in France the past few weeks—attending the Cannes Film Festival, pulling up at the amfAR Gala in a $1.5 million Benz, and kissing models on balconies.  Yesterday, he attended the 2011 French Open between Novak Djokovic and Juan Martin del Potro. Looking on as Djokavic defeated del Potro, Kanye wore a full-zip hoody and black sunglasses—his most casual outfit overseas since his arrival in France. Even though it’s difficult to tell the brand of the hoody, it features a zipper that extends around the lining of the hood—a style made popular by A Bathing Ape in 2005 during the advent of the all-over print hoody craze.

• Kanye at New York’s Fashion’s Night Out

Kanye West was in attendance at New York’s second annual Fashion’s Night Out event last Thursday, causing absolute pandemonium as he was walking through Manhattan’s SoHo district. Kanye went with a casual look, going with a low-cut shirt underneath his blazer and choosing to wear several gold chains instead of a tie. A completely different style than what we’ve been accustomed to ever since he introduced his designer suits initiative with the Rosewood Movement. Throughout the night, Kanye visited several boutiques in SoHo, including the grand re-opening party for the Chanel retail store.

• Kanye at LeBron James’ “The Decision” TV Special

Just before LeBron James announced to the entire world that he was going to take his NBA career to the Miami Heat to join superstars Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, he met with another star onsite of his TV special at the Boys & Girls Club in Connecticut. Kanye West was in attendance at “The Decision” and struck a pose with King James. Part of Kanye’s outfit included a black blazer, a white v-neck t-shirt, Wayfarer-style sunglasses, and a wooden beaded necklace.

• Kanye Wearing Air Jordan Spizike with Murakami x Louis Vuitton Monogramouflage Duffel Bag

Continuing with his stay in New York, Kanye was once again seen walking the streets of SoHo. Notable items to point out in Kanye’s outfit include a pair of  the Air Jordan Spizikes in the black/varsity red-cement grey-military blue colorway, and the Takashi Murakami x Louis Vuitton duffel bag from the “Monogramouflage” collection.

The Spizikes were released this past February and retailed for $175. The Murakami x Louis Vuitton duffel bag was released in June 2008 at the Brooklyn Museum Murakami Exhibition and select LV retail stores. The retail price was set at $1,930.

• Kanye at Takashi Murakami Exhibition

Kanye West was recently spotted at the “Takashi Murakami Paints Self-Portraits” Exhibition in Paris by Kanye Live forum member YvesSaintLaurentDior, and was lucky enough to score a photo with the Louis Vuitton Don himself. Kanye’s all black outfit consisted of such items as a pea coat jacket and the black Louis Vuitton Jasper’s shoes.
