• Kanye West Tweets About “Yeezi 3″

Amidst all the news of the upcoming Air Yeezy 2 shoes, Kanye West reported that he’s already working on the third installment. On Dec. 27, he tweeted, “Sketching Yeezi 3s… no I don’t want herb chicken or the cheese tortellini … I want to sketch”. An official release date for the Yeezy 2s has yet to be confirmed, so we most likely won’t hear further news of the Yeezi 3 shoes anytime soon.

• Kanye West Spotted in Air Yeezy 2s at Lakers-Bulls Game

Kanye West was spotted courtside yesterday at the Lakers-Bulls basketball game wearing a pair of black/pink Air Yeezy 2 shoes. His outfit also consisted of a denim shirt and black Balmain biker jeans. The Balmain jeans are similar to the ones that Kanye wore when he debuted his fashion line in Paris back in October. There’s still no word on an official Air Yeezy 2 release date, but many have speculated that the highly-anticipated sneaker will release in March with a retail price of $235.

• Nike Air Yeezy 2 Photo Posted by Don C

Kanye West’s road manager, Don C, posted a picture on his Tumblr of the black and pink Air Yeezy 2s. As you already know, these are the sneakers that Kanye’s been wearing throughout the entire Watch the Throne tour. Looking at the photos below, you can see more details into the crocodile-like textured side panel, glow-in-the-dark sole, pink lining, mesh toebox, and strap. With the Watch the Throne tour wrapping up tonight in Vancouver, we’ll have to rely on product shots like these for more previews of the sneakers.

• Rumored Air Yeezy 2 Release Date

Kanye West and Jay-Z’s Watch the Throne tour comes to a close this Sunday, and it’s no secret that ‘Ye’s been rocking the black/pink Nike Air Yeezy 2 shoes throughout the entire North American tour. With all the new photos and angles of the sneaker constantly popping up after every show, more and more rumors of colorways and prices seem to surface. One recent rumor is about the Air Yeezy 2 release date. Yesterday at around noon, the Twitter account @AirMag tweeted, “#Yeezy2″ followed by a graphic of a countdown of 2,412 hours (100.5 days) from December 14, which would lead up to midnight March 24, 2012. No official release date has been announced by Kanye or Nike, and until that happens, everything else is speculation.

• New Image: Nike Air Yeezy 2 “Zen Gray”

The Vice President of Def Jam Promotions, Shawn “Pecas” Costner, recently tweeted a photo of the Nike Air Yeezy 2 sneaker in the “Zen Gray” colorway. Costner received the Nike x Kanye West collaboration sneaker directly from ‘Ye, tweeting “@kanyewest gave me his air yeezy 2.” Although this is a new image, it is not the first time we’ve seen this colorway. Kanye debuted this exact “Zen Gray” Air Yeezy 2 sneaker at the 2011 MTV VMAs. With all the hype surrounding the black/pink Air Yeezy 2s that Kanye has been wearing during the Watch the Throne tour, it’s great to see previews of additional colorways.
