• Amar’e Stoudemire Spotted in Nike Air Yeezys

New York Knicks forward Amar’e Stoudemire was recently spotted in Shanghai wearing the Nike Air Yeezy shoes in the net/net (tan) colorway. The Kanye West and Nike collaboration shoe was released back in 2009 as the final release in the Air Yeezy trifecta. Amar’e and several other Nike athletes including LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Tyson Chandler, and Paul Rodriguez are currently overseas for Nike Festival of Sports 2011.

• Kanye Rocks Jordan 6s & Ibn Jasper Bracelets in “Otis” Video

After starting the week off with the release of Kanye West and Jay-Z’s collaboration album Watch the Throne, the music video for their single “Otis” made its premiere yesterday. In the Spike Jonze-directed video, Kanye is seen rocking Air Jordan 6 “Infrared” shoes and the same pair of distressed Balmain jeans that he wore at the Big Chill music festival last week. Yeezy’s no slouch when it comes to his wrist game either. If you look closely, he’s also got on two black Ibn Jasper bracelets on his left wrist.

Jay-Z and Kanye West’s Watch the Throne dropped digitally on Monday. In honor of the album, watch for spins on WTT track titles as Nice Kicks examines notable moments in Jay-Z and Kanye’s footwear history. The list highlights shoe collaborations from the two, including Jay-Z x Nike Air Force 1 “All Black Everything,” the Kanye West for Louis Vuitton footwear collection, and the Reebok S. Carter Kanye West Collection.

• Watch the Throne Release Reminder

Kanye West and Jay-Z’s highly-anticipated collaboration album, Watch the Throne, releases digitally tomorrow, August 8. The standard album features 12 tracks including the single “Otis” and guest appearances by Beyonce, Mr. Hudson, and Frank Ocean. The deluxe version will include the duo’s very first single “H.A.M.” as part of four bonus tracks. Both versions will be available at 12 AM midnight on iTunes and the hardcopy album will be released exclusively at Best Buy retail stores on August 12.
