• Kanye Wearing the Air Yeezy 2 at a London Airport
8 CommentsKanye West was spotted at an airport in London on Wednesday wearing the Air Yeezy 2 shoes. Here, we have a clearer shot of the front of the shoe compared to the ones we’ve seen from Coachella footage. He wore the Air Yeezy 2s with an all-black outfit and the same bracelet accessories he wore onstage during his Coachella performance.

• New Air Yeezy 2 Pictures
7 CommentsAfter Kanye wore the Air Yeezy 2 sneakers at Coachella last night, it seemed everyone was trying to replay the performance footage to get the clearest possible shot of the shoes. Less than 24 hours later, people from Kanye’s inner circle delighted many sneakerheads this afternoon with additional Air Yeezy 2 preview pictures. Ibn Jasper tweeted “Photo: Air Yeezy 2“ followed by a Tumblr link with a back view of the shoes and Assal Deshmeh provided a Twitpic of a top view of the Air Yeezy 2s. Based on the two photos, it looks like the Air Yeezy 2 will feature croc print side panels, an off-white midsole, a strap similar to the original Air Yeezy release, and a light green outsole, which many have reported glows in the dark. With all these new photos surfacing quickly, can we expect an Air Yeezy 2 release date for 2011?
• Kanye Wears Celine Shirt at Coachella
2 CommentsWith all the talk this morning about Kanye West wearing the Air Yeezy 2 sneakers last night at Coachella, people might have forgotten that he wore a completely different outfit when he began his set. To close the 3-day music festival, Kanye wore a Celine long-sleeve shirt from the French luxury brand’s Spring/Summer 2011 collection. Celine does not offer a menswear line, so it’s unknown if this was a custom piece just for Kanye or if it’s straight from the upcoming collection.

6 CommentsKanye West ended Coachella 2011 wearing Nike Air Yeezy 2 sneakers and a red suit during his Act 3 set. Up to tonight’s performance, there was a lot of speculation that a second collaboration shoe between Kanye West and Nike would release, but no solid evidence had ever been released from Kanye or anybody from his inner circle. Tonight, Virgil Abloh, Kanye’s assistant art director, tweeted, “Start lining up now,” as Kanye was performing in the red suit, referring to the hype that an Air Yeezy 2 release would command. Several days ago, Abloh also posted on his blog a “Y” print that resembled the pattern from the original Air Yeezy shoe, further adding to the speculation of a future release. An Air Yeezy 2 price tag and release date is still unknown, but more answers and clearer shots should be expected in the coming months.
