• Raf Simons Shoes in Post Interview of “Runaway” Premier

After the premiere of Kanye West’s 35-minute short film, “Runaway,” he sat down with MTV for a QA session and was wearing an all-black outfit with several contrasting gold chains around his neck. The same gold chains that Kanye wore during his live performance at this year’s MTV VMAs. The shoes he had on during the QA session were Raf Simons high-top sneakers that feature a velcro strap and a full-leather upper. The Raf Simons shoes retail for 500 euros ($696) and are part of of the luxury brand’s 2010-11 winter collection. They are currently available for purchase on the Colette online store. • “Runaway” Short Film Premiere Reminder

The current single off of Kanye West’s 5th solo album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, “Runaway,” has been made into a short film and premieres today at 8 PM EST. The 40-minute short film will air simultaneously on MTV, MTV2, and BET and will be followed with a live QA session on MTV. After the premiere, we’ll have coverage on the outfit Kanye wore in the short film and live QA session.

• Stubbs & Wootton Tassel Slipper

Last night, Kanye West was in Los Angeles for the premiere of his “Runaway” short film at the Harmony Gold Theater. Kanye dressed it down appropriately for the occasion and wore wayfarer-style sunglasses, a black blazer over a collared shirt, jeans that appear to be APC, and Stubbs & Wootton tassel slippers. The slippers Kanye has on include a red interior with actual tassels, while the tassel slippers on the Stubbs & Wootton website feature a red interior with an embroidered tassel design and retail for $425. This could possibly be part of the brand’s new collection and with Kanye’s collaboration with the footwear company currently in the works, expect to see Kanye wearing many of their slippers and loafers. “Runaway” is set to premiere to the public on Saturday, October 23, at 8 PM EST, simultaneously on MTV, MTV2, and BET.
