• Ice Cream Hoody from 2008 LAX Incident
No CommentsIf you recall Kanye West’s arrest for an airport scuffle with paparazzi at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) in 2008, you might remember the gray Ice Cream hoody that he wore during the incident. Although it has been two years, the Ice Cream hoody is available for sale on Gilt Groupe, an invitation-only online store that sells high-end items at a discounted price, for $128. The sale on Ice Cream clothing has been going on for some days now, and last I checked, only a size XS and S remain for this specific hoody.

• Rosewood Movement Attire at Secret Show
5 CommentsKanye West and John Legend were at the New York nightclub The Box last night to perform at their secret show in front of a crowd of 200 people. With Kanye’s Rosewood Movement on the rise as of late, everyone on his G.O.O.D. Music label and even the attendees were required to wear formal attire to the spectacle that one could essentially consider a black-tie affair. At previous Kanye shows, there had never been a dress code requirement for attendees or his artists, so one can surely get the sense that this whole Rosewood Movement is more than merely a way of dressing, but a way of life.

• Kanye Confirms Fashion Internship at Fendi
1 CommentWhile on the air with Angie Martinez on New York’s Hot 97 radio station, Kanye West discussed a variety of topics that included his upcoming album, Amber Rose, and his overall state of mind since the passing of his mother. A brief topic of conversation was Kanye’s internship role at Fendi while staying in Rome. He didn’t get into details of his work responsibilities, but mentioned a routine of “going to work, walking to work, getting cappuccinos” while interning at the Italian luxury brand. Kanye’s idea of being a fashion intern was revealed back in late 2008 just after the release of 808s & Heartbreak, and there were even talks of a possible Kanye and Fendi collaboration. Hearing it straight from the source confirms many of the speculations from the past two years.
Listen to part 1 of the radio interview at the 5:50 mark for the conversation about Kanye’s internship at Fendi.

• Kanye’s Rosewood Movement in Korea
6 CommentsAfter Kanye’s Rosewood Movement was unveiled in the U.S. several weeks back, he and his inner circle have taken the whole “suits all day” lifestyle overseas. After performing at Singest 2010 in Singapore this past week, Kanye is currently in Korea to perform at the Summer Week & T music festival. The photograph below includes (L to R): Jalil WIlliams, Virgil Abloh, Kanye, Don C, and Tony Williams. The suit brands they have been wearing the past weeks are still unknown, but considering Kanye’s taste in high-end fashion, one can safely assume the outfits are from a luxury European fashion house.
