Gucci Shaman Moccasin or Visvim Folk FBT Shaman

After Kanye West posted additional photos of his performance at Singfest 2010 on his blog, we now have a full shot of his entire outfit. Along with the neon red glow in the dark suit, Kanye had on a pair of sneakers that featured fringe details around the ankle of the shoe. Since there are no closeup shots of the shoes, it’s difficult to determine the specific brand, but based on past Kanye outfits, we’re able to narrow it down to two shoes – the Gucci Shaman Moccasin and the Visvim Folk FBT Shaman. Kanye wore the Gucci Shaman Moccasins in the “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” music video in 2007 and wore regular Visvim FBT shoes in 2008. Until there are closeup shots of the shoes, it will be difficult to come to a conclusion, but until then, which shoes do you think Kanye wore at Singfest?

    i’m going with gucci. why would kanye even mess with visvim? i’ve never even heard of visvim.

    no doubt its the gucci’s.
    check the width of the sole. the visvims are too short for it.

    Def’ the Visvim Folk FBT. I was at the front row at the show and he was literally infront of me 1/4 of the time. Its a close call. But its def’ the Visvim.

    @AJ: Visvim has been around for years and Kanye has rocked Visvim’s on and off since 2000 or even before that on his BAPE days. Visvim is carried only by exclusive boutique and far more limited than any GUCCI pair.

    Verdict: It’s official! It’s a VISVIM. Look at the heel on the sole. It’s a VISVIM trademark with the black trims. I still remember when Shamans were $250, now their $600.00. Time has changed.

    lol @ AJ. just because you’ve never heard of it doesn’t mean it’s not hot. visvim has been respected for a while for their craftsmanship and combination of innovation with heritage. step up your knowledge. yes, those are the visvim shaman folks, probably one of the most comfortable shoes out there.

    Altho confirmed by the kid in the front row who saw them, you can also tell by the leather patch on the sole, right below the arch. I am slightly obsessed with the brand.

    Definitely the Gucci’s.
    Look at the thickness of the sole, the visvims soles are pretty flat.

    And kanye also wore the gucci’s in his ‘can’t tell me nothing’ video
