• Kanye’s Horus Chain and 2-Pyramid Ring by Jacob & Co.

Three days after Kanye West’s performance at the BET Awards 2010 and the internet is still buzzing over his Horus chain and 2-pyramid ring. The 24k yellow gold pieces of jewelry were created by Jacob & Co.’s Jacob the Jeweler and are valued at $300,000 a piece. If Kanye’s jewelry game and leading single “Power” are any indication of what to expect with his upcoming album “Good Ass Job,” I think it is safe to say that he is back strong ready to take aim at all his critics and doubters.

• Kanye West’s Necklace at the BET Awards 2010

If you were able to catch the opening of the BET Awards 2010, then you most likely saw Kanye West perform his new single “Power” atop a stage setup that appeared to resemble a volcano. Even more astonishing than the setup was the necklace that he was wearing. Rather than sticking with his usual Jesus piece, Kanye went with an oversized necklace that held a pendant that looked as if it could cover Kanye’s entire face. Not too much information has been released on the designer of the piece, but a close-up shot has been posted on Kanye’s official blog. If I had to guess, I would say that it is a custom piece from the accessories brand Ambush, which has been known to create jewelry based off of Egyptian imagery.

Edit Monday, June 28: It has been confirmed through Kanye’s official blog that the pendant is of an Egyptian deity called a Horus. Horus is not the brand, but simply the figure on the pendant.

• Kanye Outfits at Past BET Awards

With Kanye West scheduled to perform at the 2010 BET Awards later this evening, it will be his first televised performance since the Taylor Swift incident front the 2009 MTV VMAs. He will be opening the awards show with most likely “Power,” which appears to be the first single off of his 5th album, “Good Ass Job.” Aside from his performance and onstage spectacles, it will also be intriguing to see Kanye’s outfit, as he’s never seemed to disappoint from past BET Awards appearances. Let’s take a look at old Kanye outfits from the last two BET Awards.

• Kanye Wearing Air Jordan 6 Infrared Sneakers

While catching a flight to Los Angeles from New York’s JFK International Airport, Kanye was recently seen wearing Air Jordan 6 Infrareds. The timing is quite appropriate seeing as how the Air Jordan 6 Infrared pack was released this past weekend on June 19th. Now, it’s difficult to determine if he has the 2000 retro Infrared or the more recent release (my gut tells me Kanye has the 2010 Infrareds), but for all those that can appreciate shoes, the Infrared Jordans, no matter if it’s a retro or OG, are a nice addition to any sneaker head’s collection.

• Kanye Wearing Air Jordan “Grape” Spizike

Following up from Kanye’s outfit at the “Stay in School” benefit  concert in Chicago this past Tuesday, photos from the aftermath of the show reveal that he was also wearing Air Jordan “Grape” Spizike sneakers.  Among its design features include the infamous cement print, custom lacelocks, a number 23 hit on the heel, a perforated upper, and a grape sole. The grape Spizikes were released back in late March of this year and had a retail price of $175. Although many sneaker heads have a love/hate relationship when it comes to Jordan Spizikes, it appears to be Kanye’s sneaker of choice since his return to the public eye. He wore the black/cement/red Spizikes just a few weeks back.
