• Kanye Wearing Air Jordan Spizike with Murakami x Louis Vuitton Monogramouflage Duffel Bag
4 CommentsContinuing with his stay in New York, Kanye was once again seen walking the streets of SoHo. Notable items to point out in Kanye’s outfit include a pair of the Air Jordan Spizikes in the black/varsity red-cement grey-military blue colorway, and the Takashi Murakami x Louis Vuitton duffel bag from the “Monogramouflage” collection.
The Spizikes were released this past February and retailed for $175. The Murakami x Louis Vuitton duffel bag was released in June 2008 at the Brooklyn Museum Murakami Exhibition and select LV retail stores. The retail price was set at $1,930.

• Kanye West Spotted in SoHo New York
4 CommentsAfter months of being away from the public eye, Kanye West was seen yesterday in the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan in New York. Photographed by lifestyle blogger and tastemaker, William Yan, Kanye’s outfit consisted of a cream pocket t-shirt, a red hoodie, and dark vintage-washed jeans. Nothing of shock value, but definitely a classic outfit that is comparable to his style from the Graduation days of 2007/2008.

• A Fraction of Kanye West’s Sneaker Collection
7 CommentsWith the news that Kanye West’s Los Angeles home is up for sale, more photos of several of the rooms inside his 4,000+ square foot abode are being made available to the public. One such photo I recently discovered (although from 2007) displays a closeup shot of a mere fraction of Kanye’s sneaker collection. In fact, this may possibly be the same shoe rack from when Kanye was featured in Harper’s Bazaar. Judging from the photo, there’s several low top Converse Chuck Taylors, an Air Jordan 3 and two Air Jordan Spizikes, a Nike Air Max 1 Safari, and Vans skate shoes.
Can you identify any of the other shoes in Kanye’s sneaker collection?

• Turn Back Thursday: Kanye Wearing Red Nike SB Supreme Blazer
No CommentsBefore the Nike Air Yeezy hype, there was the Nike SB Supreme Blazer in 2006. A collaboration sneaker between New York-based brand Supreme and Nike, this particular sneaker, similar to the Air Yeezy, resulted in multi-day campouts and commanded astronomical resale prices on sneaker forums and Ebay. With the Nike Blazer as the silhouette, there were three colorways released- red, black, and white. Here’s Kanye West rocking the red Supreme Blazers in 2007. Not entirely shocking, seeing as we’ve already seen Kanye wearing Supreme back in 2003.

• Dress Like Kanye West Update
11 Comments
To all the dedicated readers of Dress Like Kanye West,
As many of you have noticed, there has been a severe lack of updates in the past two months. During that period, I have been going back and forth on the direction that I would like to take this website. Believe it or not, when you’re running a website that is centered around a single individual, in this case, Kanye West, it can be quite a difficult task to generate new content when that individual is nowhere to be seen in the headlines.
After much thought, I will continue to operate this website as an avenue for all your Kanye fashion information. I’ve gained too many loyal readers for me to simply walk away. Blog posts may be limited, but I will try my best to present the best possible content.
In the coming months, there will be major additions to the website to ensure content is fresh and relevant.
Stick with me. Don’t give up just yet.
