• Mr. Hudson Shows off the LV Mr. Hudson’s
6 Comments

Arguably the most underrated Kanye West and Louis Vuitton collaboration shoe, the Mr. Hudson’s definitely establish a completely different aesthetic from the Jasper’s and Don’s. It has the silhouette of a boat shoe and loafer, while its construction and attention to detail fully represents the luxury appeal that is Louis Vuitton. Now, if you’re familiar with Mr. Hudson’s sense of fashion, then you’d understand that it was only appropriate for Kanye to name this particular shoe after his G.O.O.D. Music artist. Here’s a video of Mr. Hudson at RSVP Gallery in Chicago, showing off the Mr. Hudson’s and singing an acoustic version of his song “Supernova”.

• Turn Back Thursday: Polo Bear Sweater
3 Comments

For this week’s Turn Back Thursday, we go back to 2003/2004 when Kanye West was merely known as a college dropout who had an interest for bears. From the bear head artwork to the mascot that Kanye would bring out during shows, the Dropout Bear, as it was officially referred to, became  imagery that would forever be linked to Kanye. Here is a photo that was used to promote the album “The College Dropout”, where Kanye is wearing the Dropout Bear costume with a complementary red Ralph Lauren Polo Bear sweater. This specific Polo Bear sweater is a vintage piece that is no longer sold by Ralph Lauren, but can be found, on rare occasions, at  thrift stores and even on Ebay.

• Good Wood Black Jesus Piece
11 Comments

Several weeks back I showed you the brown and black maple wood Good Wood Jesus pieces that belong to Chris Lee and Joe La Puma, respectively. Although the black Jesus piece is not for sale to the public, the brown piece is available for pre-order and ships November 15. If you’re trying to get your “Dress Like Kanye West” on, this is definitely a staple piece to complete the outfit, as the infamous black Jesus piece is known to be Kanye’s choice of jewelery. What’s better is if you’re trying to pull off a Kanye costume for next year’s Halloween, this Jesus piece will set you apart from all the other Kanyes out there. Here are additional photos of the black Good Wood Jesus piece from Emeka Obi and Marcus Troy.
