Pastelle (Past Tell Museum) Will Not Be Released
October 12, 2009 | Category: Pastelle/Past Tell | Author: John
After photos of Kanye West’s clothing line Pastelle (Past Tell Museum) surfaced, High Snobiety quickly informed the public that Kanye’s clothing line will never be released. Although High Snobiety did not offer a source to the breaking news, it would almost be silly to discredit them because of their reputability. However, Kanye will apparently release an entirely new line under his own name that is set to release soon. Although tremendously disappointing, it finally ends all the years of anticipation.
See the photos below the logo of varsity jackets from Pastelle (Past Tell Museum) that would have been.

on October 12th, 2009Kanye was really trying to make Pastelle (or Past Tell) on the same level as Bape, Billionaire Boys Club (BBC), and Ice Cream. I was excited to see what he had up his sleeve to rival those other brands.

on October 20th, 2009I don’t see what all the hype is about. I was waiting for his clothing line to come out to see what Mr. West had to offer but guess I can forget about those plans. Not hating on him, but those jackets isn’t all of that. Kanye wears so many european desiners and get a lot of inspiration from tokyo, japan pop art and clothing styles. You would think he could do better than that. Those jackets don’t look that much like anything we haven’t seen already from from (BBC) Billionairs Boyz Club and EdHardy with the tiger jacket. Come on… Wake Up mista West!!!! That’s probably why he changed his mind. The clothes just wasn’t posh enough to cut the chase. I am feeling his louis vutton Don Don sneakers along with his nike sneakers though. Those kicks are original!

Turn Back Thursday: Kanye Wearing Pastelle Hoodie | Dress Like Kanye West - Fashion, Clothing, and Shoes
on October 7th, 2010[...] Turn Back Thursday for this month reveals Kanye West wearing a hoodie from his now-defunct clothing line, Pastelle. When this specific advertisement was released, it was originally believed that Kanye’s clothing line would be called Mascott and would feature the Dropout Bear from his debut album, The College Dropout, as the brand’s logo. Mascott proved to be nothing but rumors and Pastelle (later changed to Past Tell Museum im 2008) became one of the most anticipated clothing lines from a rap artist. No matter what you referred to it as, the brand never made its way to retail stores and it was eventually revealed that Pastelle would never be released. [...]
