• Behind the Scenes: Louis Vuitton Collaboration
1 CommentEveryone enjoys behind the scenes footage. Everything that goes on in between the concept and completion stages always makes for great content because it reveals the labor of love and dedication that was put into the final product. Complex showed some of the preliminary stages of the creation of the Nike Air Yeezy in one of their latest issues and I’d have to say that it made me appreciate my pair even more. Now, the Belgium-based publication, DSM (De Standaard‘s weekend annex), provides the public with a great article and photographs of the creative process that went on between Kanye and Louis Vuitton designer Fabrizio Vitti.
• Kanye’s Black Outfit
14 CommentsWhile on set for the music video shoot of the Clipse’s ‘Kinda Like a Big Deal, Emeka Obi (10 Deep), was able to take this photo of Kanye West. This all black outfit from Kanye is very appropriate because he’s just killing it right now. The black Jesus piece, the Flat Top sunglasses by RETROSUPERFUTURE, and the black collaboration sneaker, Jasper’s (appropriately named after Ibn Jasper), he did with Louis Vuitton. This proves one’s outfit can significantly be comprised of a monotonic color and still fail to deter attention.
• Big Sean’s Net/Net Air Yeezy
3 CommentsBig Sean, an artist on Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music label, received his Net/Net Nike Air Yeezy 2 weeks early, likewise with Ibn Jasper. Personally, I’m not too interested in the 3rd installment of the Yeezy, which I believe is the general consensus among Sneakerheads, so the pictures don’t do too much for me, but I sure am envious of that Range Rover.
• Ibn Jasper’s Net/Net Air Yeezy
3 CommentsKanye West’s barber/style consultant Ibn Jaser has just completed the Nike Air Yeezy trifecta by obtaining the 3rd, and final, installmentinal of the sneaker. Although the net/net (tan) sneaker is not due out until June 6th, Nike has always been gracious to the select few in Kanye’s inner-circle.
