• Niketown Air Yeezy Raffle

Both Niketown San Francisco and Los Angeles will be  holding a raffle for the net/net (tan) Nike Air Yeezy sneakers. All you do is arrive at Niketown the morning of the release, Saturday, June 6, enter the raffle, which is free by the way, and wait for your number to be called. If your number is chosen from the raffle, you are eligible to purchase a pair, but are not guaranteed your size.

After Kanye West’s black outfit prompted many of his fans to fill my inbox with questions regarding the jacket he was wearing, I had to find out the details of the garment. After performing research and receiving several tips from readers, it has been determined that the jacket is from the DRKSHDW Collection by designer Rick Owens.

• Kanye West for Louis Vuitton

Verbal, from the Japanese group Teriyaki Boyz, attended the Louis Vuitton Showroom last night and was able to capture several photos of the sneaker collaboration between Kanye West and Louis Vuitton. The release date is still unknown, but it is safe to assume that the hype of this sneaker will be equivalent to the Nike Air Yeezy release.

• Kanye West x Louis Vuitton Design Photos

Summer’s just around the corner and that means 2 things– exit Nike Air Yeezy, enter Louis Vuitton. As the 3rd and final installment of the Air Yeezy releases on June 6, the collaboration sneakers between Kanye West and the French luxury brand is set to hit official Louis Vuitton flagship retailers soon. • Easily Over a Thousand Dollars

And who said males couldn’t gather in a group and just talk sneakers? The footage features Kanye West, Ibn Jasper, CurT@!n$, Pusha T, and others discussing the Nike Air Yeezy and the Kanye Louis Vuitton collaboration sneakers. The discussion takes place during an intermission of the “Kinda Like a Big Deal” music video shoot. Easily over a thousand dollars in sneakers in this footage.

• Behind the Scenes: Louis Vuitton Collaboration

Everyone enjoys behind the scenes footage. Everything that goes on in between the concept and completion stages always makes for great content because it reveals the labor of love and dedication that was put into the final product. Complex showed some of the preliminary stages of the creation of the Nike Air Yeezy in one of their latest issues and I’d have to say that it made me appreciate my pair even more. Now, the Belgium-based publication, DSM (De Standaard’s weekend annex), provides the public with a great article and photographs of the creative process that went on between Kanye and Louis Vuitton designer Fabrizio Vitti.
