• New Colorways Kanye West x Louis Vuitton Sneakers

After providing extensive coverage of the collaboration sneaker between Kanye West and Louis Vuitton, we believed we saw the entire line of sneakers from the project. Black Rainbow dismisses that by providing a preview of 5 new colorways from the collaboration. The sneaker is slated for a June 2009 release at Louis Vuitton stores, but a an official retail price is yet to be announced.

• New Balance x United Arrows

Kanye West was spotted Sunday morning in Los Angeles wearing a pair of the collaboration shoes between New Balance and Japanese brand United Arrows. The New Balance 997.5 features a New Balance 997 upper sole and a New Balance 998 midsole.  The shoe released in December of ’08 and can be purchased at the United Arrows online store.

• New Pictures of the Nike Air Yeezy

Amidst all the talk and previews of Kanye West’s collaboration shoe with Louis Vuitton, his collaborative efforts with Nike, the Nike Air Yeezy, took the backseat for the past few months. However, new photos have surfaced, which should definitely reignite interest from sneakerheads and fashionistas. The Air Yeezy is slated for a Fall – Winter ’09 release, depending on style, with a retail of around $200. Notable features include a glow-in-the-dark outsole and Y-patterned graphics along the toe cap and mid-foot strap.

• Kamiakin Braves Letterman Jacket

It has been confirmed that the Kamiakin Braves letterman jacket Kanye West wore on BET and at a Los Angeles nightclub this past Thursday, originates from Kamiakin High School, located in Kennewick, WA. Now, how the jacket got into the hands of Kanye remains a mystery, but I’m sure there’s a plausible story behind it.
